Jessica “Jessie” Carrier, PA-C
Jessie Carrier is originally from Texas, but recently made the leap to move to the Pacific Northwest to be with her significant other. Jessie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, where she was also a collegiate swimmer. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She has 11 years of experience as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant with Baylor Scott & White in Waco, TX. She genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and collaborating with them to reach their health care goals. She is looking forward to experiencing all that the Kitsap Peninsula has to offer and becoming a part of the community. Outside of work, you can find her running Spartan races, working in the vegetable garden, or caring for her seven rescue animals (three dogs and four cats!)
MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
As you know, each of our providers have a common desire for valued provider/patient relationship. We are invested in healthy patients and communities and prefer to remain independent from larger corporations. This allows the freedom to choose the best care for our patients.
Membership and concierge practices are no longer unusual in Kitsap County, especially with independent practices. With our membership practice, we can provide care beyond what is not, or may not be covered by insurance companies and are able to offer additional benefits. We wanted to inform our entire practice that we will NO longer offer the “Standard” membership option as of December 31, 2024. This change does not affect patients that are already “Complete” members. Please see the Q&A section on our website for further information.

VACCINE UPDATE
We are pleased to welcome back the administration of adult vaccines to the practice! This took some time to sort through the best way to allow this to happen, and we have found a successful solution. We are offering the following: Tdap, Td, Hepatitis A & B, Pneumococcal, Shingles, HPV, and RSV. Flu and COVID vaccines will become available in the early fall.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Many of you received a letter from us a few months back regarding being part of our Aledade ACO and what that means for you. We wanted to provide you with another copy of that letter in case you missed it. You can view that letter here by clicking on the following link: Aledade Notice 1
As we continue to find ways to support each of you in your healthcare journey, our staff is making efforts to contact patients after they have had a visit to the emergency room, or inpatient hospital stay. We find that checking in on patients, providing education, and gaining feedback, has been extremely helpful in understanding some of your needs. We would like to remind you that our office can manage ‘urgent’ needs verse visiting the emergency room for specific symptoms. Concerns such as urinary tract infections and respiratory infections can most often be treated right here in the office. We understand that emergent situations do require more intensive treatment from the emergency department.
